California Real Estate Document Recording Services

In most cases, recording thousands of real estate documents requires a professional. Document recording services ensure all documents are error-free, recording fees are confirmed, and records are processed as fast as possible.

At Blue Streak Docs, our document recording services are second to none! We provide mail-in recording, walk-in recording, eRecording, and UCC filing throughout California. Regardless of your preference, our network of document recording experts will do anything they can to help you through the process.

What Documents Can Be Recorded in California?

Legal documents that affect the titles to real estate property can be recorded, including:

  • Grant deeds
  • Deeds of trust
  • Tax liens
  • Mechanic’s liens
  • Reconveyances

All real estate documents must follow the recording requirements established by the code for the State of California.

Mail-In Document Recording in California

Blue Streak Docs can help you record real estate documents at any of California’s 58 courthouses. With mail-document recording, all real estate documents are sent using first-class postage or priority mail. Or, if you prefer, we can FedEx your documents directly to the County Recorder for expedited delivery.

We’ll also provide you with a copy of the recorded document or a county receipt.

California Walk-In Document Recording

Want to skip the line? With walk-in document recording, your documents are immediately sent to one of our recording agents. They are then walked into one of California’s courthouses for filing and recording. In short, this process ensures your documents are logged before all main-in requests, which can take weeks to record.

As soon as your document has been recorded, we’ll provide you with a copy or a county receipt with recording information. In the event of a county running behind on recordings, we’ll send you updates until your document has been processed.

eRecording in California

In California counties that subscribe to the service, we can record documents electronically. In general, it takes about 24 hours for real estate documents to be e-Recorded. eRecording services are considered an efficient alternative to mailing in documents or filing in person. Plus, eRecording services see fewer rejections than mail-ins and walk-ins!

UCC Lien Filing in California

If you need to file UCC lien documents at the county or state level in California, we can record them via eRecording, mail-in, or walk-in services.

California - Economics

California has an enormously productive economy, which for a nation would be one of the ten largest in the world. Although agriculture is gradually yielding to industry as the core of the state’s economy, California leads the nation in the production of fruits and vegetables, including carrots, lettuce, onions, broccoli, tomatoes, strawberries, and almonds. The state’s most valuable crops are grapes, cotton, flowers, and oranges; dairy products, however, contribute the single largest share of farm income, and California is again the national leader in this sector. The state also produces the major share of U.S. domestic wine.

Many high-tech companies and small low-tech, often low-wage, companies remain in S California, in what is said to be the largest manufacturing belt in the United States. Farther north, “Silicon Valley,” between Palo Alto and San Jose, so called because it is the nation’s leading producer of semiconductors, is also a focus of software development.

California continues to be a major U.S. center for motion-picture, television film, and related entertainment industries, especially in Hollywood and Burbank. Tourism also is an important source of income. Disneyland, Sea World, and other theme parks draw millions of visitors each year, as do San Francisco with its numerous attractions and several entertainment-dominated Los Angeles – area communities.
