Professional Document Retrieval for the New York Mortgage Industry
We understand that document retrieval is more important than ever for the mortgage industry. This is why we're dedicated to getting you the documents you need from all of New York's 62 counties. We'll search through public courthouse records in any New York county, whether you need records from Queens, Bronx, New York, or Westchester county.
We can find any New York documents you need, including:
- Deeds
- Mortgages
- Property liens
- Assignments
- Lien releases
If needed, we can retrieve photocopies or court-certified copies of each document. Don't need an actual copy? That's fine, too -- we'll send over a report of the information we find.
New York Deed Search
Our New York deed search services also include mortgages and releases. All we need from you is the name(s) of the grantor or grantee, the property's address, and the county in New York where the property is located. Then, we'll have our local network of professional searchers comb through property records to find exactly what you need.
New York Civil Court Document Retrieval
We search through county-level civil court case records, which are usually located in probate court records, to find documents related to:
- Foreclosures
- Divorce cases
- Death certificates
- List of heirs
- Wills
The information we need from you is any relevant names, a date range for the record or if you have it, a specific case number. Having the case number dramatically reduces the time it takes us to find the court documents.
How Long Does Court Document Retrieval Take in New York?
In general, we can turn around New York court document record requests within 48 hours. It could take longer if the file needs to be retrieved from storage, if the case is in mediation, or if the case is in a judge's chamber. If any of the above is the case for the documents you need, our searchers keep a close eye on the status of each request.
New York UCC Filing & Lien Search
Uniform Commercial Codes (UCCs) can be filed at the county recorder’s office or at the state level with the New York Secretary of State. Whether you need us to search for one UCC filing or thousands, our experienced network of searchers gets to work quickly, downloading findings into our industry-leading reporting software.
We can search for UCC filings and liens and report back to you on:
- Names of any secured parties

New York - Economics
The state has a complex system of railroads, air routes, and modern highways, notably the New York State Thruway. The New York State Canal System, an improvement of the old Erie Canal, is now mainly used for recreational travel; the Hudson and some other rivers still carry freight. Ocean shipping is handled by the port of New York City and, to a much lesser extent, by Buffalo. Hydroelectricity for N New York is produced by the St. Lawrence power project and by the Niagara power project, which began producing in 1961.
In spite of significant decline, New York has retained some important manufacturing industries, and, by virtue of New York City, it has strengthened its position as a commercial and financial leader. Although the largest percentage of the state’s jobs lie in the service sector, its manufactures are extremely diverse and include printed materials, apparel, food products, machinery, chemicals, paper, electrical equipment (notably at Schenectady), computer equipment (Poughkeepsie), optical instruments and cameras (Rochester), sporting goods, and transportation equipment.
Printing and publishing, mass communications, advertising, and entertainment are among New York City’s notable industries. Long Island has aircraft plants (although these have declined sharply since the 1970s) and Brookhaven National Laboratory, a research center. Many corporate headquarters and research facilities have relocated in Westchester co., N of New York City.
